We were entrusted with an innovative brief: to develop a specialised antibacterial fragrance exclusively for use at the holy mosques in Mecca and Medina. It needed to fulfil its antibacterial purpose without bringing a clinical atmosphere into a sacred place.

People were arriving for worship. The fragrance needed to respect that moment. This meant approaching the formulation with equal attention to its technical requirements and the experience of those encountering it.

We spent 18 months developing and refining the fragrance, with testing conducted through specialist laboratories in India involving approximately 200 people. Following approval from the relevant Saudi medical authority, it was introduced into diffusers at the entrances—a bespoke creation with a specific antibacterial purpose, designed to feel entirely at home in its setting.

Among our most exclusive creations is a bespoke blend developed for one of the Gulf’s ruling royal families. Drawing on our expertise in natural ingredients, we shaped the composition through extensive research and successive rounds of feedback, refining it to the royal house’s precise preferences.

The distinction lies in how it was created: not an existing fragrance presented to royalty, but an original composition developed exclusively for them. Its exclusivity began with the brief—not the label.
